Quick and Easy Menu Planning – The Chows Kitchen #8

Welcome to the Chows Kitchen! Menu planning has been the biggest lifesaver for our family. As a person who would rather hold a paint brush than a ladle, I try to plan healthy(ish) and easy meals to get us through the week. Not only does it make the cooking process less dreadful, but it saves us $$$ and keeps us eating healthier. Plus, it is so easy to change it throughout the week.

Depending on the recipe, I will adapt to fit my dietary needs {I have Crohn's disease and stay away from red meat, pork, dairy, etc.}. This weeks menus is all provided by the Food Network :). If I make any changes, I will let you know. Here is what we are having this week!

Sunday Menu

Carbonara Fried Rice (Food Network)

Only 7 ingredients. I am sold! I will replace the pancetta with turkey ham. This is such a good way to change up a simple meal

Monday Menu

Grilled Fish Tacos with Lime Slaw (Food Network)

I love fish tacos! To go with it and give something the girls will like, I will make some homemade tortilla chips {such an easy thing to make!} and guacamole.

Tuesday Menu

Turkey Pad Thai (Food Network)

I am excited to try this one out. At first, the number of ingredients scared me a tad {yes, I am one of those people}, but we will see how this one is.

Friday Menu

Leftovers! Nothing better then only having to reheat food

Fridays are our dessert day. After endless asking from Berkley if we could have dessert on any given night, we decided to make Fridays that night. Now she never asks :)

Saturday Menu

Take-out!

It is also good to eat out sometimes ;)

I hope this helps and makes menu planning a little more easy for you. If you try something, let me know! In need of more meal ideas?? See more here!

Thank you for being here. Mean it!

with love, andi
